Academy for Family Empowerment, Inc. has partnered with Rockdale County School System to provide School-based Mental Health Services since 2010. The goal of this program is to provide students with access to counseling services while at school. Referrals are received from school counselors, social workers, and other school personnel.

Our program utilizes licensed therapists to provide individual, family and group counseling services. To make a referral to the School-Based Program, please complete the referral form below.

Academy for Family Empowerment, Inc. has provided CORE mental health services, with DBHDD since 2004. Our CORE program offers an array of mental health services, to children ages 5 to 18 with emotional and behavioral issues. Services can be initiated by parents, DJJ, DFCS, School personnel, relatives, and other community partners.

AFE accepts all Medicaid plans, to include Peachstate, Amerigroup, Care Source and ASO. To make a referral to our CORE Program, please complete the referral form below.

Academy for Family Empowerment, Inc. has worked in collaboration with the Department of Family & Children Services since 2003, as a state approved vendor. AFE has partnered with DFCS to provide family preservation and wrap-around services to families involved with DFCS.

The goals of our DFCS program is to prevent child abuse/neglect and build healthy families. To make a referral for DFCS services, please send over a DFCS Service Authorization to , fax to 770-918-8800, or via ARGO.
